UCI Paul Merage School of Business

Our specialized Master’s programs in Accounting, Finance, and Business Analytics, and highly individualized Doctor of Philosophy in Management allow you to pursue your own area of interest, and prepare you for a career in teaching and scholarly research at the university level.

The application process and entry requirements for our master’s programs and PhD program at The Paul Merage School of Business are all considered on an individual basis. Candidates are welcome to apply from any academic background, as the Admissions Committee evaluates applicants on a holistic basis, considering both achievements to date and future potential.

If you’re interested in applying to study a postgraduate program at The Paul Merage School of Business, you’ll need to ensure the following materials are submitted with your application.

Official transcripts from all institutions attended to obtain undergraduate degree (with English translation if needed)

The GMAT or GRE are not required, but strongly recommended for applicants with GPA’s under a 3.3

Two Letters of Recommendation

Two essays

Résumé

Official TOEFL, PTE, or IELTS (For international applicants – the scores are valid for two years).

The average tuition fees for master’s programs can range from $46,000 to $55,000. If you need help to pay for your studies, you may be eligible for several types of financial aid. Alternatively, you can email us at scholarships@uci.edu.

For those who wish to undertake the PhD program, you’ll receive a full support package which covers tuition, fees and a living stipend.
