Using a methodology comprised of indicators designed to measure an institution's ability to tackle the world’s greatest environmental, social and governance (ESG) challenges, the QS Sustainability Rankings 2026 features nearly 2000 universities from around the world.

Lund University in Sweden is the top university for sustainability in the world this year, ranking ahead of University of Toronto in second place.
