Tambov State Technical University (TSTU) is considered to be one of the largest educational institutions in the region. It was founded in 1958 as the Tambov affiliate of Moscow Institute of Chemical Engineering and called Tambov Institute of Chemical Engineering. In 1993 the Institute was renamed into Tambov State Technical University. More than 50 000 specialists with diplomas of higher education have been trained for more than 60 years of university existence.

University mission is to be a leader in training a global competitive engineering elite, generating and transferring scientific knowledge and technologies, forming a harmoniously developed and socially active personality based on the digital transformation of the University and the best world traditions for the sustainable development of the region's innovation ecosystem and improving the quality of life.

Today TSTU structure includes: 8 institutes, 2 faculties, 40 departments; 8 research centers, innovation laboratories and centers of shared access, fundamental library, student campus, stadium, swimming pool and a summer camp in the countryside.

TSTU offers 60 specialist and master degree programs, some of them are taught in English:

·        Material engineering and material technologies

·        Mechanical engineering

·        Nanoengineering

·        Radioelectronics

·        Informatics and computer engineering

·        Construction

·        Architecture, etc.

All non-Russian speakers applying to master, specialist and postgraduate programs at TSTU should enroll on a one-year preparatory Russian language course costing about RUB 84,000 (~US$ 1,230). To start your application, request additional information by email: tstu04@yahoo.com, fmo@mail.tstu.ru

Average fees for international students applying to master, specialist and postgraduate programs are about RUB 120,000 (~US$1,760).
