Skoltech offers 10 MSc programs (taught in English):

MSc students are required to earn a total of 120 ECTS-credits throughout the duration of their program. This includes:
36 compulsory and elective credits
36 research and MSc thesis credits
24 elective and project credits
12 entrepreneurship and innovation credits
12 industry immersion credits
Skoltech also offers 7 English-taught PhD programs:
Mathematics and Mechanics
Physics
Materials Science and Engineering
Life Sciences
Computational and Data Science and Engineering
Engineering Systems
Petroleum Engineering
On graduation, all Ph.D. graduates will have done at least 240 ECTS-credits, of which:
Advanced Major-Field Courses (12 credits)
General Doctoral Courses (18 credits)
Research Experience (195 credits)
Professional Experience (6 credits)
Qualifying Exam + Thesis Defense (9 credits)
+ Elective Courses (0-60 credits)
Applying to Skoltech:
The Skoltech application process consists of three stages:
Stage 1: Online application via Skoltech’s online portal.
The online application includes an information form, CV, motivation letter, 2 reference letters, and, if available, results of the English test (TOEFL or IELTS).
Stage 2: Online Test
All applicants will complete an online test. There is no minimum requirement but the better your results, the more chances you will have to get to the next stage of the application process. Ph.D. applicants do not need to pass an online test.
Stage 3: Selection Weekend
Every year, Master of Science and Ph.D. applicants from across Russia and around the world attend Skoltech's Selection Weekend. During these days, participants go through interviews and an English test. Selection Weekend is also an opportunity for prospective students to learn about the latest developments in Skoltech’s research and innovation programs. Invitations to the Selection Weekend are reserved for those students who submitted the strongest online applications and received high scores in the online test. In exceptional cases, the admission committee requests some applicants to participate in additional on-site testing in order to receive a more accurate evaluation. These applicants will be notified individually prior to the Selection Weekend.

The online application to Skoltech are accepted from October 1st, 2019 in several rounds.
