Skoltech offers 7 Ph.D. programs (English taught):

Tuition fees: no tuition fee for the applicants who pass the selection process

Application to Skoltech consists of two stages:

Stage 1. Application at Skoltech’s online portal, DEADLINE: July 22, 2019, 23:59 (Moscow time zone)

Application includes an online form, CV, personal statement, 2 reference letters, and, if available, the results of English test (TOEFL or IELTS).

• • As part of the admission process, applicants should indicate the Skoltech faculty member(s) with whom they wish to pursue doctoral studies. Applicants may review the Skoltech faculty profiles before beginning the online application.

Stage 2. Selection Days

During Selection Days, participants go through interviews and an English test (for those who don’t have TOEFL or IELTS certificate). Invitations to Selection Days are reserved for those students who submitted the strongest online applications.

On graduation all PhD graduates will have done at least 240 ECTS-credits, of which at least:

• Advanced Major-Field Courses (12 credits)
• General Doctoral Courses (18 credits)
• Research Experience (195 credits)
• Professional Experience (6 credits)
• Qualifying Exam + Thesis Defense (9 credits)
• + Elective Courses (0-60 credits)
