Vologda State University

Vologda State University (VSU) is renamed Vologda State Technical University that integrated into its structure Vologda State Pedagogical University and Vologda Engineering College. VSU is located in the city of Vologda in the European part of Russia, 450 km from Moscow. Currently VSU has a student body of 10 000. The university is recognized abroad and has cooperation agreements with educational institutions from Europe, Asia, and North America. 

Vologda State University incorporates 7 institutes and a university college:
- Institute of Civil Engineering;
- Institute of Humanities;
- Institute of Mathematics, Natural and Computer Sciences;
- Institute of Culture and Tourism;
- Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Power Engineering and Transport;
- Institute of Pedagogy, Psychology and Physical Education;
- Institute of Management, Economics and Law.
