Ural Federal University is one of the leading and largest universities of Russia, a federal innovation platform, located in Ekaterinburg — the capital of 2023 FISU World University Games. Ural Federal is the project office of world-class Ural Interregional Research and Education Center (UIREC) "Advanced Industrial Technologies and Materials", aimed at successful completion of national project 'Science' tasks.​​ Ural Federal University (UrFU), established in 1920, brings together fundamental education and innovative approach towards the challenges of modern times and is continuously improving its position on the world stage.

Ural Federal University offers more than 460 Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral (PhD) degree programs in natural sciences, engineering, social sciences and humanities in Russian and English.

Currently the university is home to 36 000+ students, among them there are 4 400+ international students from 101 countries of the world. There are more than 4 500 faculty members, including top-notch Russian and foreign experts.

Apart of that, if you would like to study in Russia for a short period of time, you can participate in international student mobility programs or summer/ winter school at UrFU.
