About
At POLIMI Graduate School of Management we offer a range of postgraduate courses which inspire original thinking and teach participants practical skills for real life business. From customised company programs, to MBAs, Specialising masters and executive courses, we offer a range of full- and part-time options that will challenge candidates to think differently.
Masters are focused on a specific area of management. The more specialised nature of a Master’s qualification provides the candidate with the precise academic and theoretical framework to work in a specific management function.
Since 2009, POLIMI Graduate School of Management has been based at the Bovisa Campus, the nerve centre of the School. The Campus is part of an urban redevelopment project for the future of the Bovisa-Goccia area of Milan, which reflects the values of innovation and inclusion to build a more just, sustainable, and aware society.
Among the services available on Campus, there are:
- Library
- Study areas
- Labs
- ICT services (Microsoft Office 365, POLIMI Graduate School of Management e-mail account, DHUB)
- YESMILANO digital student card
- Sporting activities organised by Polimi Sport
In addition to the main venue in Bovisa, the new Navigli Campus will be inaugurated in 2022.
The Campus was born from the desire to offer our students ̶ in particular the international ones ̶ the opportunity to enjoy a different experience of Milan, in an area, Ripa di Porta Ticinese, characterised by a unique atmosphere, which combines the spirit of the old Milan with a vibrant cultural scene.
About 60% of our master students are international. These students come from all the continents and represent approximately 50 different countries.
International students will have the possibility to study and live in a dynamic and cultural city at the forefront of modern Italy where the most important events, shows, trade fairs and exhibitions take place.
Milan boasts a very efficient infrastructure system which makes it a transport hub for much of Europe.
The city’s excellence on the international stage has been recognised with the awarding of the World Expo.
There are a lot of things that students can do in Milan; check out some tips here.
Regarding accommodation, students, depending on their budget, can choose among different options:
Shared Flats
Studio/Apartment
Student Dorm
They have the options to book through a POLIMI Graduate School of Management agreed provider or to arrange accommodation privately.
Applications are processed on a rolling basis. Since the number of seats in class is limited, candidates are encouraged to apply as early as possible. Should the course become fully subscribed before the deadline dates, applications will close earlier.
Our international masters are designed for recent graduates with ideally no more than 3 years of work experience. Before starting the application process, the admissions staff will be happy to pre-assess a student’s profile and confirm their eligibility for the master of interest.
To apply, a valid English certificate will be also required.
For additional information about the application steps and documents, feel free to contact the admissions team at: [email protected]
The masters include highly structured career management services. The Career Development Center supports students in setting their own professional goals, defining a career strategy, optimising presentation tools such as the CV and the cover letter, and selecting the correct channels for their job search.
Among the services offered are:
Careers workshops integrated into the Master’s programme to develop the career management skills needed to be competitive in the job market
Digital tools and artificial intelligence at the student’s service to optimise your CV and measure and improve your hard, soft and digital skills
Individual consultation meetings with professional career coaches
Free access to the MIP Global Network of Careers Websites
Networking events with employers, such as company presentations, company visits, on-campus recruiting events, Career Days
Preferential access to internship and job advertisements on Job Teaser, the School’s digital careers platform
Here are some significant data based on the employment experience of 2020/2021 students:
83% of students employed at the end of the master
Job contract (23%) and company internship (72%) were the most relevant types of contract.
September was the most fruitful hiring period
Once the master has been completed, students will be part of our Alumni Community which attains its strength from each of the more than 20,000 graduates of the Politecnico di Milano School of Management.
