Currently, FIA Business School’s one undergraduate course, Bachelor in Business, is offered only to Brazilian students. However, the institution is able to accept exchange students as some of the modules are offered in English.

Tuition fees
Tuition fees for Brazilian students are $2,800 (Brazilian Reais) per month, which should be paid over a four-year period.

There is also special funding available where students will need to pay $1,450 (Brazilian Reais)/ per month, over 120 installments.

Entry requirements
Students will need to sit an entrance exam.



FIA Business School’s central campus is based in the Pinheiros neighborhood and offers:

  • Restaurant and cafeteria
  • Living area
  • Auditorium
  • Library
  • Parking places
  • Subway and bus station nearby


Students are required to make extensive use of technology for coursework and related activities. A laptop or tablet will be most useful as all class material will be made available for students virtually, through FIA Business School’s Student Portal.

Student accommodation
Although FIA Business School doesn’t offer student housing services, staff are happy to offer advice and suggestions as to which areas are most suitable to students’ needs and interests.


Portuguese Classes
For those who are interested in learning Portuguese, FIA offers 24 hours of free Portuguese lessons throughout the first weeks of classes. Although they aren’t mandatory, they are added to your academic transcript as an optional discipline if you attend.


International study trips and exchange programs

FIA Business School offers international study trips as a way of providing a different experience and outlook on management. The International MBA programs have a one-week study trip to Silicon Valley in the USA, with classes at Stanford and Berkeley also included.

The International MBA also maintains student exchange agreements with international institutions, whereby students can attend up to one term of study at these schools, tuition-free. These include:


  • Vanderbilt University, USA
  • emlyon business school, France
  • SDA Bocconi, Italy
  • Porto Business School, Portugal
  • IPADE, Mexico
  • Tongji, China

Please note: Spaces are limited, and allocation of places are based on student performance. Students who wish to apply to the exchange program must present their GMAT score in order to be nominated by FIA to their preferred school of choice.





If you’re an international student who is considering applying to FIA Business School, you will need to meet the following candidate criteria:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
  • At least five years’ worth of professional experience
  • Submit an online application
  • Provide an up-to-date CV

    Optional documents:
  • GMAT
  • TOEFL certificate

Scholarships and additional funding

Students with a GMAT score equal or above 650 will receive a 10 percent scholarship grant.

Students from countries with per capita income below Brazilian’s average who are approved in the selection process and demonstrate a financial need may receive an additional 25 percent grant for the Accelerated MBA program.

FIA Business School’s curriculum offers classes which focus on career development and leadership. There are also workshops which focus on the cultural aspects of working in Brazil, how to write a CV, as well as how to prepare for an interview.

Students will also have the opportunity to work on a consulting project within a company located in Brazil. They will learn about the market, working environment and build and establish their own network connections. In the past, FIA Business School students have worked on projects from companies such as GE, Novartis, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, BASF, and Pfizer.

In addition, dedicated face-to-face sessions are held with numerous companies that express an interest in hiring FIA Business School students. 

FIA Business School regularly receives job offers from students, former students and major companies, and regularly post job opportunities on its social network pages.

At the end of each program, FIA provides students with a list of the companies from its own personal contacts, and according to students’ interests, FIA forwards their CVs to these companies along with a letter of recommendation.

FIA Business School also offers students the opportunity to further their business skills through the “Manage Mentor” course which is in partnership with Harvard.

To give an idea of what past students have gone on to do, the EMBA Council Report for the International MBA reports:

  •  56 percent of students received a promotion during the course
  • 68 percent found employment outside their current organization within 12 months
  • 59 percent of students started their own business within two years of completing the course
