COVID-19 Information: https://www.concordia.ca/sgs/covid-19.html

Located in vibrant and multicultural Montreal (voted the Top Student City in North America), Concordia is among the most innovative universities and a leading member of Canada’s vibrant academic ecosystem.

With over 120 graduate programs and two campuses, our students work alongside internationally-recognized faculty members in state-of-the-art labs, experimental exhibition spaces, and smart libraries to bring their research – and their results – into the larger world. Our INDI and HUMA graduate programs foster new approaches through multidisciplinary research, and our partnerships with other universities encourage collaboration across institutional lines. As a result, our graduate students often attain recognition as Vanier, Banting and Trudeau Scholars.

Our strategic directions set out our vision for the future and exemplify our daring approach to some of the most important issues of our time. Our experts apply a transformative approach in key areas: Cities, Health, Artificial Intelligence, Synthetic Biology, Aerospace, Digital Arts and Indigenous Futures.

Mindful of the opportunities outside of academia, Concordia supports the career development of its students with dedicated programs, facilities and tools including GradProSkills, experiential learning opportunities and entrepreneurial development centers like District 3.

Concordia’s School of Graduate Studies offers master’s and PhDs in addition to graduate-level diplomas and certificates. Whether it’s science, engineering, the arts or business, Concordia has opportunities for you to reach your academic and professional goals.

Architectural heritage. LEED-certified buildings. Public art installations. High-tech equipment. Art studios. Science labs. The Sir George and Loyola campuses are filled with hidden gems. With a recent $80 million investment in facilities and resources, we have everything to support your engagement in the practical application of your studies. Tour our facilities.

RESEARCH CENTERS

Flight simulators, hydraulics and machine-tool labs, chemistry labs, are only a few of the places where you'll learn the fundamentals and gain confidence in your ability to create new knowledge and technology. Join one of Concordia’s 22 research units, who provide research and training in areas as diverse as preventive health, synthetic biology, human rights and digital arts. Discover our research units.

MAKERSPACES

Bring your vision from inspiration to reality in sun-drenched ateliers and high-tech studios. We’ve got tools: a kiln, a loom, a 3D printer, a welding torch, a lithography press. Or maybe you’re designing and building a satellite or a drone. Discover our Fine Arts equipment that will push the limits of your creativity and ingenuity.

EXHIBITION AND PERFORMANCE

Our galleries and theatres offer unparalleled opportunities to reach a public audience. Discover our arts and culture hub.

STARTUP INCUBATOR

If you have a great business idea, District 3 can help you make it happen. Pitch your ideas, build prototypes and collaborate with business strategists, engineers and creative people. You’ll benefit from the expertise, networks and encouragement of your very own mentors. Visit District 3.

The Concordia lifestyle is an urban lifestyle that keeps you active, engaged and connected. We’re fuelled by creativity and diversity, just like the city around us. People from all over the world live, work and create here. That makes for an incredibly rich experience when it comes to language, literature, fashion, music, film, and food. Living in Montreal will open your eyes – and your mind.
