Cagayan State University (CSU) has held a strong program in Medical Technology and is known as the national top performing school in the Philippines for four-consecutive years. It is also the No. 1 Respiratory Therapy school in the Philippines, garnering a consistently high passing rate since 2017. CSU also records high passing rates for Electrical Engineer and Physician Licensure Examinations and has strong programs in Agriculture and Fisheries, Information and Computing Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, Education, English Language and Communication as well as in Arts and Sciences to ensure that each of the students’ potential competency is catered.

CSU holds quality education with prime importance. Thus, the University subjects itself to accreditations to be at par with academic standards both locally and internationally. Cagayan State University is an Associate Member of the ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA), established as the ASEAN quality assurance network in higher education.

Out of the 155 offered programs where 29 are graduate programs, 91 programs are accredited by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) with 6 accredited Level III Phase 2, 9 accredited Level III Phase 1, 23 accredited Level II, and 53 accredited Level I.  CSU Andrews Campus’ College of Teacher Education is also ISO 9001:2015 Certified.
