UDLAPhas only one campus, locatedin Cholula, an ancient city of great cultural richness with unique scenery,traditions, and history, only 20 minutes from Puebla, thecapital city of the state of Puebla that was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.The campus is on a former 17th century hacienda, which ischaracterized by its architecture, gardens, and biodiversity. It has vanguard facilities, includingclassrooms, labs, computer rooms, library, and more.
Aninternational environment distinguishes UDLAP, with a multicultural community fromaround 60 different nationalities, 25% full-time professors from diversecountries, and the possibility of exchange programs with more than 30 countries.
Theacademic quality and integral formation of students is nationally andinternationally supported by its accreditations, such as the one awarded by FIMPES (Mexico) and the one granted since 1959by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). The latter was ratified at level 6 (the maximum possible),being only one of two universities outside the United States to have meritedthis distinction. This accreditation indicates that UDLAP has quality standardsequal to those of the U.S.
Inaddition, UDLAP was the first one-campus university in Latin America, and theonly in Mexico, to obtain 5 stars in the international QS Stars audit,earning five stars in the categories of Teaching, Employability, Internationalization,Academic Development, Facilities, Arts & Culture, and Inclusion.
