Historically, the rector of the university has always been a priest and the university is part of a group known as the Pious Schools. Despite this theological influence, the university offers an expansive range of teaching, including industrial engineering, computer science, and graphic design. University facilities include an auditorium, gym, library and two cafeterias. A second campus in Calasanz opened in 2002, which houses the departments teaching economics, strategic marketing and other subjects.
