Universidad Católica del Norte

Located in the Chilean port city of Antofagasta, the Catholic University of the North was founded in 1956. Teaching at the university is split across seven faculties, with teaching occurring across two main campuses as well as a separate museum and research center in San Pedro de Atacama and an astronomy center. The university has a total of seven research centers as well as a Scientific and Technological Park.
