Founded in 1945, Roosevelt University is named for the former President and first-lady of the United States of America, Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt. An independent, nonsectarian institution, Roosevelt is committed to academic excellence and social justice. Campuses are located in downtown Chicago and the city’s northwest suburban Schaumburg.
