Our long-established Management School is a place of cutting-edge knowledge, where academically-leading research is applied in the real world, positively impacting the lives of individuals, businesses and organisations, and society.

Whilst rankings only tell part of the story, our degrees nonetheless perform strongly across a broad range of different business school rankings. We are highly regarded by the Financial Times, QS, The Times, Guardian and more. Our high student satisfaction rates and excellent reputation for research demonstrate the quality of our provision and the value for money our programmes offer.

Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) is ranked amongst the UK’s top 10 and Europe’s top 50 business schools according to the Financial Times European Business Schools Ranking 2022, which is compiled based on salary increases of alumni who completed the MBA, Executive MBA and Masters in Management (MiM) programmes.

Lancaster University is set on a beautiful parkland campus, three miles from Lancaster city centre.

The campus offers everything for your daily life. Facilities include shops, a health centre, pharmacy cash machines (ATMs), hairdressers, a post office, restaurants, coffee shops, a theatre, cinema and an art gallery. The library, in the centre of campus, offers a variety of clean, modern, connected workspaces (and we even have a tree inside!).

The extensive sports facilities include a 25-metre swimming pool, 8.5-metre climbing wall and bouldering cave, two sports halls, two studios, a fully equipped fitness suite and a strength and conditioning room.

The Management School has a range of dedicated teaching and learning spaces, and a recently new five-storey building with three new lecture theatres, two executive teaching suites and a large atrium. This cutting-edge facility provides an inspiring setting for the whole community.

The campus is well connected by bus, and Lancaster is ideally positioned as a base for you to explore the rest of the UK, from the city’s mainline railway station.
