KTH is Sweden’s largest and most prestigious technical university with around 13 000 full-time students. The university has a rich history of pioneering ideas and innovation that dates back to 1827. The university offers a range of study options for international students seeking world-class education within science and technology.  

KTH offers one bachelor's programme taught in English, in Information and Communication Technology. The programme corresponds to three years of full time studies and leads to a Bachelor of Science degree. After graduation, you can proceed to a working career or continue to study at a master's programme at KTH or elsewhere. Other programmes on bachelor's level are given in Swedish.

Around 60 master's programmes are taught in English at KTH. The programmes present an opportunity for students with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent to obtain a master's degree of the highest international standard.


KTH conducts education and research at five campuses in the Stockholm region. Strategic placements of the campuses enables in-depth collaboration and close contact with industry and the surrounding community, all with a shared focus on digitalistaion, sustainability, internationalisation and equality.

The main KTH Campus is located in central Stockholm and has been an important centre for research and education since the early 20th century. Most central functions and degree programmes are based here.
