Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda State University

The University provides training of specialists in 32 specialties of magistracy and 12 PhD specialties of doctoral studies in the following areas:

1. Education

2. The humanities

3. Social sciences, economics and business

4. Natural Sciences

5. Engineering science and technology

6. Agricultural sciences

The contingent of master course students totals 335, doctoral students - 45 people.

University students study in 10 educational buildings. There is a scientific and technical library, with five reading rooms, 4 subscription, 3 electronic reading rooms, a department of normative and technical documentation.

For the development of a healthy lifestyle the University students have “Seyhun” Sports and Health Complex, 7 gyms located in academic buildings, and 3 summer sports grounds. In addition, there are:

- 5 hostels for 1344 students;

- 64 specialized training laboratories;

- 4 workshops;

- 7 student canteens;

- 1 medical point;

- 1 military training ground;

- The Palace of Students, museums and exhibition halls.

The publishing house of the University publishes a youth newspaper "SyrTlegli" and a scientific and methodical journal "Korkyt Ata KSUKhabarshysy".

In order to develop entrepreneurial skills, the Center for the Implementation of Innovative Projects "Business Start" has been functioning since May 2017.

 On the basis of the Laboratory of Engineering Profile "Methods of Physical and Chemical Analysis", equipped with modern equipment, students, in the final works, conduct scientific research.

To support and develop talented young people, and to form socially significant abilities and communicative culture of the young generation, 17 young people's organizations function in the university, including the team  "Zhaydarman", the debate club "Aqiqat",  students scientific association "Zerde", etc.
