Goizueta Business School

Background:  Emory is a coeducational, private university in Atlanta, Georgia, one of the most dynamic business centers in the United States. Emory's Graduate School awards Ph.Ds in twenty-nine departments/divisions. The Goizueta Business School was established in 1919, and today offers BBA,  MBA and Ph.D. degree programs.

The University:  Collaboration does not stop at the walls of the Goizueta Building. We believe our doctoral education must be connected to the University as a whole, and that students should be exposed to state-of-the-art thinking in disciplines such as Economics, Sociology, Psychology, Political Science, and Statistics. Therefore, our doctoral students will be encouraged to participate fully in the intellectual currents of Emory University by taking courses from, and collaborating with, scholars in other fields and disciplines.

The City: Our location in the city of Atlanta, the economic hub of the Southeast, and the capital of the State of Georgia, provides students with a great many opportunities to study current business problems and practices.

Our curriculum combines doctoral coursework in the social sciences, quantitative methods, seminars in specific business areas, and a dissertation.
