Aarhus School of Architecture

The Bachelor’s Degree Programme at the Aarhus School of Architecture is a three-year academic and artistic programme. It provides students with a solid academic foundation on which their further education and career can be based. We place a great emphasis on the first years of the architectural education focusing on students’ professional development. To us, student development is more than just acquiring complex knowledge.We believe it is important that students are given the opportunity to explore and develop a personal and professional standpoint. As opposed to many other higher education programmes, we offer an artistic education, and we insist on constantly optimising the acquisition of knowledge through teaching experiments. The Bachelor’s Degree Programme involves engaging with the society we are all part of – either through specific cooperation with local and international partners, or by working with issues of general social relevance.
