QS World University Rankings: Western Europe 2026

ETH Zurich is the best university in Western Europe this year, a sub-region that includes seven different study destinations: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands and Switzerland.

Of these seven destinations, Germany and France are the most-represented in the top 10 with three universities each, including second-placed Université PSL and fifth-placed Technical University of Munich.
