QS World University Rankings: Southern Europe 2026

Politecnico di Milano is the top university in Southern Europe this year, a sub-region that includes a dozen study destinations including Italy, Spain and Portugal.

All of the top 10 universities in Southern Europe are located in these three countries. The top Spanish university is Universitat de Barcelona while the top Portuguese university is the University of Lisbon.
