Yuan Ze University

Yuan Ze University (YZU), was founded in 1989as the College of Engineering through a private endowment fund given by Mr.Yu-Ziang Hsu, the founder of the Far Eastern Group. YZU has transformed into acomprehensive university in 1997 and soon became a top quality institution in Taiwan’shigher education.

With a studentpopulation of 9,000 and over 600 faculty and academic staffs, YZU offersleading programs in the Colleges of Engineering, Informatics, Management,Humanities and Social Sciences, and Electrical and Communication Engineering.  And all of these colleges started theInternational Programs for Bachelor degree from 2017 academic year to providemore international education programs for students.As part of theFar Eastern Group, one of the top five business conglomerates in Taiwan, YuanZe provides students and faculty members with added values and expectsourselves to be the benchmark university in industry-academia liaison. 

Located in TaoyuanCity, YZU enjoys the tranquility of a small city and the advantage of easeaccess to other major cities in Taiwan. We are only 40 minutes away from Taipeiand 20 minutes from the Taoyuan International Airport by car. Two of ourbuildings have won the Taiwan Architectural Award making us a landmark of Taoyuan.
