UNSW’s unique campuses are at the centre of Sydney, a bustling global city that consistently ranks in the top-10 student cities in the world.  Kensington is UNSW’s main campus – it’s just a short trip from the Sydney CBD and close to world famous beaches like Bondi and Coogee. 

At 38 hectares, the Kensington campus is like a city in itself, with restaurants, shops, a gym and pools, medical facilities, sporting teams and ovals, as well as great entertainment. Our modern, award-winning facilities mean you can make the most of university life. These include:

The UNSW Art & Design campus is located in the suburb of Paddington, a hub for art, culture and student life. Meanwhile UNSW Canberra at the Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) sits in our nation’s capital and political heart. 

 On campus facilities like the Michael Crouch Innovation Centre champion hands-on learning and entrepreneurship. Through access to the latest technology, students from all faculties can design, experiment and build their ideas with guidance from visionaries and corporate partners.

If you’re moving from overseas, our  student accommodation is the fastest way to make friends and immerse yourself in university life. We’ll also support you to find suitable renting and share-housing options in Sydney.
