To cater to its diverse student community, the Universidad Tecnológica de México (UNITEC) runs a four-month-based curriculum, with three enrollment periods per academic year (January, May and September). This way, students are able to study at their own pace – if they need more time or are pursuing a career alongside their studies.

UNITEC currently offers three modes of study:

1. In-person study
Ideal for those available to attend class on campus every day, undergraduate programs studied in person typically last between three to four years.
2. Part-time classes
Designed for adults over the age of 24 who have other commitments, part-time study means taking nine hours of classes a week for three years, typically at the weekend or in the evenings.
3. E-learning

Run by teachers with prior experience in online education, this mode of study is designed for self-disciplined students who prefer to study from home or work and are able to motivate themselves and persevere through their degree. UNITEC provides students pursuing this mode of study with a calendar, curriculum, materials and possibilities to interact with students and teachers. Support is available seven days a week.
