Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola (USIL) is a private institution based in Lima, Peru. It was founded in 1995 by former vice president of Peru Raúl Diez Canseco Terry for the purpose of shaping entrepreneurial, ethical, and socially responsible leaders committed to the sustainable development of their countries with a global perspective.

Committed to producing highly qualified professionals in different areas of knowledge, USIL offers over 40 undergraduate programs through its eight colleges: Architecture; Business; Education; Engineering; Health Sciences; Hospitality Management, Tourism Administration and Gastronomy; Humanities; and Law. The graduate school offers doctorate, master’s degree and certificate programs. In addition, the university has over 240 strategic partnerships with institutions throughout the world. 

Its modern facilities are distributed over five campuses in Lima, which have a total of 80 000 square meters of building space that house classrooms, conference rooms, libraries, study rooms, specialized laboratories, a film viewing room, a TV set, computer rooms, sports courts, parking areas, a book store, a chapel and a gymnasium, among other spaces. 

USIL pertains to an education corporation with an over 50-year history, which has operations in other parts of the world such as the United States, Paraguay and China.
