The "Laurea" (equivalent to Bachelor of Science) programme is an undergraduate degree obtained after a three-year course of study and aims to provide a solid foundation in the core scientific subjects as well as more specialized, professional training. During the third year, the student is expected to acquire work experience by doing an internship at a company or studio. Once the student obtains the "Laurea", he/she can either directly enter the job market or continue his/her studies by the applying to the "Laurea Magistrale" (equivalent to Master of Science).

The university hosts several students associations, covering a wide array of interests, and allowing students achieving the best experience during their time at Politecnico di Milano. The university is particularly active in the organization of cultural and social events, also with the participation of keynote speakers.

Furthermore, a dedicated Welcome Desk in all the Campuses supports our international students throughout their stay in Italy.

In order to apply for the Politecnico di Milano MSc programmes, some entry requirements should be met, including holding a bachelor degree in a related field of study.

There are two intakes a year, corresponding to 1st and to 2nd semester, respectively starting in September, and in February. Please note that Design programmes only allow to apply for the 1st semester.
