The Broad Full-Time MBA offers concentrations in Finance, Human Resources and Strategic Management, Business Analytics, Marketing and Supply Chain Management. This 21-month program takes place on Michigan State University's campus in East Lansing, MI.
The Full-Time MBA program at Michigan State University prepares you to become a leader in business by providing a holistic, team-based approach to learning. No matter which areas of expertise you wish to develop, Broad will give you a wide breadth of theoretical and practical business know-how so you can become a leader in any area of business.
MSU’s team of world-renowned faculty have developed a curriculum grounded in strategic business theory and a hands-on, experiential approach to learning that fosters the development of the soft skills that are critical for effective management.
The MBA curriculum’s three components ensure that all students develop both a strong foundation and subject matter expertise:
•    MBA Core Curriculum: 31 credits that provide foundational learning
•    MBA Concentration: 12 credits that build subject matter expertise in one of four fields
•    MBA Electives: 18 credits that deepen knowledge in areas of interest to drive relevant expertise to a desired career path

Team Effectiveness Laboratory
First-semester MBA students develop collaborative skills in the state-of-the-art Team Effectiveness Laboratory. Students are assigned to a team based on behavioral tests and background; the team setting teaches students how to influence without power while receiving real-time feedback. Through the combination of traditional lecture-based classes and the team simulation, students are able to gain greater insight into both leadership and team processes.

Burgess Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation
The Burgess Institute for Entrepreneurship & Innovation is here to empower Spartans. We help student entrepreneurs discover, build, and launch their startup ventures. We like to think of this process as venturing. The Burgess Institute's venture creation programming, resources, and community are open to everyone — graduate students and undergrads, alike. No matter your major, if you are currently enrolled at MSU, the Burgess Institute Discovery and Launch programs are offered free of charge.

The Center for Venture Capital, Private Equity and Entrepreneurial Finance
The Center for Venture Capital, Private Equity and Entrepreneurial Finance (CVCPEEF) integrates financial thinking and strategic decision-making with innovation and entrepreneurship via research and education across the university, and outreach to the venture capital (VC) and private equity community around the world.

Financial Analysis Laboratory
The Financial Analysis Laboratory provides training in financial modeling and valuation. The lab simulates a real trading room, with trading desks, real-time data feeds and other trading room technology, and enables a dynamic instructional setting. All students taking the introductory finance class complete a project in the lab. Students taking a financial modeling course or the security analysis course may also complete assignments in the lab.

Broad students venture through their MBA journey and take part in so many meaningful opportunities beyond their coursework. The student experience is one filled with services supporting them, organizations to join, social impact work to engage in, and community-building that leads to lifelong networks of colleagues and friends.
The Broad Full-Time MBA program offers endless opportunities to practice, lead and participate. We have a community of students that are committed to their studies, passionate about their college and keepers of the program’s culture.
