Daejeon University

General graduate schools seek to establish fundamental theories in different disciplines and search for broader application methods in greater depth. They also have master's and doctoral programs to develop the character and research ability befitting intellectuals. Graduate programs at Daejeon University, which began 1988 with master's degree programs in four departments, have expanded over the years and currently consists of 44 departments (85 majors) for master's degree courses and 31 departments (81 majors) for doctoral degree courses. In addition, under MOU agreements for the exchange of research personnel and technology with the Korea Institute of Energy Research, Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute of Korea, Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine, and Korea Ginseng & Tobacco Research Institute, Daejeon University has opened and operates programs that link up with various industries, research institutes, and academic organizations. These programs have enabled Daejeon University to grow both in quality and quantity through scholarly inquiries and research activities with substance.
