Da Yeh University

Da-Yeh University (DYU) was founded in March 1990 according to the feature of educational establishment of German industrial universities. The educational philosophy of Da-Yeh University rests on the initiatives of equal emphasis on theory and practicality, humanity and technology. Apprenticeship and collaboration between academic and industry are the two means to accomplish the goals of cultivation of professionals with creativity and quality. DYU started recruiting students through Joint College Entrance Examination in 1990. Currently, there are nearly 12,000 students studying at the seven colleges, College of Engineering, College of Design and Arts, College of Management, College of Foreign Languages, College of Biotechnology and Bioresources, and College of Tourism and Hospitality.DYU also hosted several important events including the 29th University and College Games, the 1st University and College Club Expo, University President Conference, Hundred Industry Partnership-Strategy Alliances Fair, Ceremony for Industry-Academic Partnership Establishment. In addition, DYU has also been awarded with Teaching Excellence Project from Ministry of Education in consecutive years, which indicates the high teaching standard overall, excellent management and the great potential of DYU.
