The American University of the Middle East (AUM) is a leading higher education institution established in 2005 in Kuwait. AUM has two colleges: the College of Business Administration and the College of Engineering and Technology.
The 2021 QS World University Rankings lists AUM among the world’s top 1,000 universities and number 3 globally for international faculty.

- Mentoring sessions on CV writing, preparing students for interviews and job search strategies
- Trainings and workshops to enhance students’ career prospects like team building and cohesion, self-awareness, communication skills, ethics and trust, time management, stress management and many more
- Internship opportunities for students to ensure they get appropriate high-end training that will prepare them for their future career
- Corporate placement services where a Business Development team is in charge of widening the scope of career related opportunities for students and alumni, establish field trips, and bridge the gap between students and employers by organizing Field Trips & Information Sessions
The American University of the Middle East’s alumni network has grown rapidly – starting with 50 graduates in 2011-2012 to 4,772 graduates in 2018-2019.
AUM’s Alumni Office encourages alumni engagement with the university and enables their involvement with employers and organizations that offer employment opportunities by hosting annual events and professional development activities, workshops, career fairs, alumni gatherings, and on-campus interviews.
