AAU is licensed to operate under the auspices of the UAE Ministry of Education (MoE). AAU continues to successfully seek international accreditation of its programs by respected educational bodies. Two programs in the College of Engineering are accredited by the US-based Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), The University’s Bachelor of Pharmacy program has the distinction of being the first in the UAE to be granted International Certification by the prestigious Accreditation Council of Pharmacy Education (ACPE) in the US. Whilst the University’s Bachelor of Law program received accreditation from the Supreme Council for Evaluation, Research and Higher Education (HCERES) in France And, the Bachelor of Mass Communication and Media accredited by AQAS.
