The 2026 edition of the QS World University Rankings by Subject features 55 narrow subjects across five broad subject areas. This year's rankings are our biggest yet, with over 1,900 institutions included this year, including over 300 which appear for the first time ever.
Southern Asia has the highest percentage of improved universities since last year, while East Asia provides the most new entrants.
