Tomsk State University of Architecture and Building (TSUAB) is the competence and knowledge center in architecture and civil engineering located in West Siberia. The university trains professionals in a wide range of disciplines for all academic degrees. Research is focused on developing innovative solutions for architecture and construction in cold climate conditions. TSUAB strategy is in coupling of business and academic communities via joint research and training to meet the needs of both sides. TSUAB specialists are official experts in project engineering, testing and expertise, quality assessment, design, refurbishment, strategic regional planning. The University is state-funded and was founded in 1952. There are 6 Institutes, 7 Faculties, 38 Departments, 56 programs to choose from (28 bachelor, 18 master, 4 specialists, 6 secondary vocational education). Over 6400 students are taught by 500 professors and teaching staff. Highly qualified researchers share experience and train professionals who are able to explore new knowledge and leaders ready to face the competitive environment. The focus is on creating the atmosphere and conditions for students and scientists to bring their insights into art and innovation, generating new knowledge and discovering novel solutions to support the dynamic progress and changes in the construction industry.
