The Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences (Shaninka)

The Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences (www.msses.ru)  is one of 3 private, accredited, global, educational institutions in Russia. The main aim of the Moscow School’s founders was to create a university in Russia that could compete with the best universities in the world. Six years before the signing of the Bologna Declaration, the MSSES had already adopted the “Bologna structure”, most of Shaninka educational programmes are validated or accreditated by foreign partner Universities from Great Britain. 

Working in harmony with both the Russian and British education systems, the MSSES offers 4 Bachelor, 18 Master, a few Ph.D. and a wide range of professional retraining level programmes and implements the most effective methods of teaching and self-training.

More than 2700 individuals have graduated over the past years and are successfully pursuing their professional careers.

MSSES GOALS:

• Integration of the best features of the Russian higher school and international higher education;
• The return of science to a higher school;
• Support and development of social sciences and humanities and fundamental education;
• Ensuring access to educational programs for students of Russian regions and the countries of the former Soviet Union.

Accommodation:

International students are provided with twin accommodation with shared facilities and a kitchen in the comfortable student dormitory on Yugo-Zapadnaya metro station, which is located 20 minutes from MSSES Campus by subway. The nearest underground station is 5-7 minutes walk from the student dormitory.

Location:

The new main Campus of the MSSES will be officially opened in 2019 and is located 10 minutes to Moscow Kremlin (Gazetny pereulok, 3-5).
