GLA University was established in the year 2010 by Uttar Pradesh State Legislature under "The GLA University Act 2010". It is a government recognised Private State University with the right to confer degrees as per Sections 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956. The University Campus is situated on the Delhi-Mathura National Highway NH-2, Mathura – 281 406. The sprawling campus of the University is all weather accessible to the students and staff. The University offers multi-disciplinary and industry relevant diploma, undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral programs in the domain of Management, Pharmacy, Law, Education, Applied Sciences, Humanities, Bio-technology and Engineering Technology in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Civil and Mechanical Engineering .
