UNACH offers 31 courses in the following subjects: Education, Human Sciences and Technologies, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, Telecommunications, Medicine, Nursery, Physiotherapy, Law, Communication, Tourism, Economic and Administrative Sciences.

According to the Academic Regulations of the National University of Chimborazo, the requirements are the following:

a) Photocopies of ID card 

b) Voting certificate  (when applicable)

c) Copy of highschool degree or a notarized degree certificate 

d) Be registered on the admission list in order to attend the leveling courses or an exception  certificate provided by SNNA

With this documentation, the student's file is opened. All the information is managed at each school. Foreign students require the following documents: a) Updated student visa;b) High school´s degree or its equivalent recognized by the Ecuadorian Ministry of Education;c) A document granted by SENESCYT, which determines the source of income;d) Photocopy of ID card or passport, visa for the time of permanence in the country
The National University of Chimborazo is a public higher education institution and it guarantees free education up to the third level without distinction of the nationality of students.Education has no price for those who keep a high academic performance, in case this status changes, some fees will be applied. The National University of Chimborazo accepts foreign students in its 31 undergraduate academic programs. The enrollment process is the following: 1. - Review the academic profile to establish the most suitable option. 2. -  Once the academic program has been selected, an applicant can make a request for homologation of studies to the Coordinator of National and International Relations, by email, informing the academic program in which he wants to study and the subjects he wants to take.3. - The Coordinator will work to identify the availability to process this request with the academic unit selected. 4. -  If there is a place available, a representative from the Coordination of National and International Relations will answer the request, informing about the procedure to follow.5. - The applicant must send the following documentation:5.1 Information on the academic program in his country of origin. 5.2 Letter from the Office of National and International Relations on the feasibility of homologating in your university of origin, the studies approved in the UNACH,5.3 Copy of personal documents (DNI, identity card, passport, or equivalent).6.-Once the documentation has been reviewed and approved, an official from the Coordination of National and International Relations will send an email to the applicant with a letter of acceptance and will inform about additional requirements.7. - The applicant must enter the country with the following requirements:7.1 Study visa,7.2 Life, health, accident, repatriation insurance in case of death.8. - Depending on availability, one of the university representatives may meet international students at the airport. If this is not possible, the applicant will be informed, by email, about the ways of transport to the destination city (Riobamba, Ecuador).9. - Once in the destination city, if applicable, a representative will help the students to install at his housing and sign a "Certificate of installation of incoming students".10. -  The Coordination of National and International Relations will organize a meeting with incoming students and career directors to define the enrollment and signing processes of the student mobility agreement.11. - The academic program director will receive the documentation and will be responsible for enrolling incoming students, handing them a certificate of enrollment.12. - The academic program director will introduce the students in their classroom.
