TIAS School for Business and Society is the business school of Tilburg University and Eindhoven University of Technology and is situated in the Netherlands.

There are a number of reasons to study in the Netherlands: 

• International students graduating from Dutch business schools and universities can live and work in The Netherlands after graduation through the Orientation Year scheme offered by the Dutch government
• The Dutch population is highly proficient in English, meaning that international students can live here comfortably without speaking the local language
• In addition, a high proportion of the Dutch job market is open for English speakers who do not speak Dutch, including many graduate vacancies for international students

TIAS has an alumni network of 18,000+ in more than 100 countries; national and international accreditations including NVAO, AACSB, AMBA; highly ranked in the QS rankings.

There are two campuses at TIAS:

• Campus in Utrecht: a “city campus” (city center location), TIAS building is located in the very heart of Utrecht, a 5-minute walk away from the central Utrecht train station, in a vibrant area full of cafes, shops and restaurants
• Campus in Tilburg: TIAS building in located on campus of Tilburg University 

TIAS has state-of-the-art technical study equipment, including smart boards in all classrooms
Modern and bright study spaces, including study group areas with screens for laptop connection.

Available support systems at TIAS include:

• Small classes and a lot of personal attention to individual students is offered
• Students have 24/7 access to their dedicated Program Managers, responsible for their academic performance and welfare
• Each student receives a personal Career Consultant, who provides career development support for a first and/or next step in their career

The percentage of international students varies depending on the program, for example: 

• International Full-time MScBA program: 50 percent of students are international, representing 25+ different countries
• International Full-time MBA program: Over 90 percent students are international, representing 20+ different countries
• Executive MBA program: 32 percent of students are international, representing 13 different countries


There are a number of groups and societies run by students at the Utrecht campus, for example:

• TIAS Student Consultancy (TSC): Students offer their services to local businesses as volunteers-business consultants
• TIAS Business Trips (TBT): This group organizes trips to companies all over The Netherlands
• TIAS for Social Development (TSD): A group working on initiatives to improve the sustainability of processes at TIAS staff and student spaces


International students are offered shared and private off-campus accommodation close to campus.

Admissions criteria and program fees are the same for domestic and international students, however, the criteria will vary depending on the program you apply for.

Scholarships are available for the following programs: 

• International Full-time MSc Business Administration: Maximum tuition fee discount of €5,000 (US$5,896)
• International Full-time MBA: Maximum tuition fee discount of 30 percent

The employment rate at TIAS varies depending on the program.

For example, over 95 percent of International Full-time MSc Business Administration graduates find a job within 3 months after graduation. Whereas 90 percent of International Full-time MBA program graduates find a job within 3 months after graduation.
There are a number of career services available at TIAS.
For the Full-time MSc in Business Administration and the Full-time MBA programs, TIAS runs Personal Leadership and Career Development programs which focus on the personal and career development of students.
Each student receives a personal coach who will help the student develop skills like presentation, team dynamics, negotiation and communication skills to become an effective leader. Each student is supported by a career consultant to help them access the job market – and career consultant services are available after graduation too.
