Engineering - Mechanical, Aeronautical & Manufacturing 2018

Discover where to study with the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2018: Engineering - Mechanical, Aeronautical & Manufacturing.

There’s little surprise in seeing Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) continue to dominate the mechanical engineering ranking, given the US university’s strong performance across almost all engineering subjects. Elsewhere in the top 10, there’s one new entrant: the Georgia Institute of Technology is up two places to 10th.

While the very top of the ranking is dominated by British and American universities, 49 other countries are represented further down the table. The biggest climber in the top 20 is Italian: Politecnico di Milano.
