For yet another year, the chemical engineering ranking sees no change among the top four universities in the world, with Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) again ranked number one.

Lower down the table, there are two universities which climb into the top 20: Delft University of Technology in 18th and the Tokyo Institute of Technology in 20th. The highest-ranked university which didn’t feature at all in last year’s ranking is the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) which is in the top 200.
