Economics & Econometrics 2018

Harvard University has got the better of fellow US institution Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) at the top of this year’s economics & econometrics ranking, rising one place from second last year.

There are relatively few big changes towards the top of this year’s ranking, with Duke University the only institution climbing into the top 20. There is also only one university which has broken into the top 50: Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
