The top 13 universities in this year’s computer science & information systems ranking are completely unchanged from last year, meaning Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) remains number one in the world.

MIT is one of 94 American universities to feature in this year’s ranking, with no other country coming close to this level of representation. The next most-prominent countries are the UK (47 universities) and China (30).
