We are one of the largest providers of postgraduate education in the UK, with more than 7,000 PG students. Our postgraduate degree portfolio is among the UK’s largest and is highly regarded by employers, providing an excellent platform for research. We offer a Researcher Development Programme which gives tailored courses, events and workshops to aid postgraduate development.

We are in the UK’s top 20 universities for research intensity according to the Times Higher Education’s analysis of REF2014. Based on the REF 2014 GPA Scores, Times Higher Education ranked Strathclyde as number one in the UK for physics research.

We offer a wide range of taught programmes (Master, MSc, MLitt, MEd, MArch, LLM, PGDE, PgDip, PgCert) and research degrees (MRes, MPhil, PhD) across all subject areas.
