SibFU ranks as one of the largestuniversities in Russia in terms of enrollment numbers and the total number ofundergraduates and postgraduates exceeding 35000 and offers a wide range ofundergraduate programs in oil and gas engineering, IT, civil engineering,mining, metallurgy, thermal energy and electricity, linguistics, law,economics, etc. They are taught in Russian. Russian language preparatorycourses are available at SibFU and they are combined with general disciplines

Application period is from June toJuly-> Academic year begins on the 1st of October -> Three month holidaysper year (in summer and winter)

Entrance examinations are held in any formestablished by SibFU independently (testing or interview). For those who applyin advance, it is possible to stay in the dormitory at the time of admission. Tuition fee per year is 2000- 3000 US$.Foreign citizens are trained on the basis of full reimbursement of trainingcosts. However, there are some Russian and international scholarships (sfu-kras.ru/en/education/grants)and grants programs.

Undergraduate students get real practicein companies and enterprises almost at the beginning of their studying itallows them to make good networks for future and 95% of graduates get employedin the field of their major and build successful career in major industrialcompanies operating in the Yenisei Siberia and throughout Russia, e.g. UnitedCompany RUSAL, Polyus, Nornickel, Rosneft Oil Company and others. Moreover, thesuccess of graduate rate in the context of the leadership positionsof the government of the country and regions determines the quality ofeducation in SibFU.

Every year meetings with recruitingagencies are held in SibFU and the number of regular partners among thecompanies is constantly growing, reaching 471 among leading enterprises andorganizations in the region.
