We offer a number of postgraduate Masters programmes in Music and Drama. Our programmes include the internationally recognised Masters in Opera as well as exciting programmes such as the MA in Classical and Contemporary Text for actors and directors. Our excellent REF 2014 result showed that more than two thirds of our research was either world leading or internationally excellent, and suggested our research in music and drama has the strongest impact of Scottish work in this field. PhD and MPhil degrees undertaken at the Royal Conservatoire are validated and awarded by the University of St Andrews. Research students enjoy access to the facilities of both distinguished institutions.
