MARI STATE UNIVERSITY

Mari State University is one of the largest research centers of Mari El Republic, where researches on 11science fields in natural science, technical and humanitarian spheres are held. Themes of researches meet the main priority directions of scientific and technical, socio-economic development of the Russian Federation, of the Republic of Mari El, of the Mari State University development.

At the Mari State University there are a modern scientific and technical, teaching and laboratory base, the modern experimental plants that allow making comprehensive scientific researches, the modern computer equipment.

At present there are four dissertational councils on protection of doctoral and master's theses in agricultural, pedagogical, historical and biological sciences in Mari State University. The Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation considers the problem of continuation of dissertational council's work in philological sciences, of creation of dissertational councils in technical sciences and economics.
