Los Angeles Film School

In the spring of 1999, a group of Hollywood professionals founded The Los Angeles Film School. Their goal was to establish an institution where industry professionals can share their knowledge of film production with a new generation of filmmakers. The Los Angeles Film School expanded its offerings in 2004 with the addition of the Los Angeles Recording School recording engineering certificate program.  

The campus currently occupies over 250,000 square feet of space in the heart of Hollywood, California with instructional facilities located in the historic RCA building (6363 Sunset Boulevard), the iconic Ivar Theatre (1605 Ivar Avenue), the professional quality recording studios at the Los Angeles Recording School (6690 Sunset Boulevard), and the main headquarters at 6353 Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood, CA,90028.
