The Indian Institute of Technology Patna offers bachelor’s degrees in the following technology disciplines:

  • Computer Science and Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Civil Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering

Students interested in any of these programs must sit the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)-Advanced. In all cases, teaching is spread over four years with eight semesters in total.
