The Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), or Tecnológico de Monterrey, was founded in 1943 by a group of Mexican businessmen led by Don Eugenio Garza Sada. The objective was to prepare university graduates of the highest academic level. Today the Institution has grown into a multi-campus university system which is unique in Latin America because of its extensive geographic coverage and complexity.
