Released today, the QS MBA by Specialization Rankings 2021 provide an overview of the top programs offered by business schools all over the world for seven areas of specialism.

Schools are ranked based on employer reputation and research strength for each of the seven areas, as well as the number of career placements graduates from the school’s MBA programs have achieved in the specific field.

For the second year in a row, MIT Sloan School of Management has been ranked as the best business school for specializing in information management. The full top 10 can be found below.

In tenth place is the MBA program at London Business School. The school received a perfect score in employer reputation and a high score in career placements.

With tailored core courses and over 80 elective classes to choose from, the LBS MBA program is perfect for those looking for a flexible learning approach. Tuition fees amount to US$114,685.

 

9) Judge Business School

Placing in ninth position is the full-time MBA from Judge Business School, which scored high for employer reputation and career placements.

The 12-month program is divided into four terms and consists of 16 compulsory modules and a personal selection from 48 electives. Electives are grouped into concentrations, allowing candidates to make the most out of their specialization and improve employment prospects. Tuition fees amount to approx. US$76,885.

 

8) NYU Stern School of Business

Placing in eighth position and with high scores across all strength indicators is the MBA program at NYU Stern School of Business.

Notorious for its specialized and varied MBA programs, NYU Stern is a great fit for students looking to tailor their curriculum as much as possible to meet specific academic goals. Tuition fees (per year) amount to US$117,638.

 

7) Stanford Graduate School of Business

Seventh on the list is the two-year MBA program at Stanford Graduate School of Business. The school received a perfect score of 100 in the employer reputation category and a near-perfect score for career placements.

Based in the beautiful town of Stanford, California, and close to the global tech hub Silicon Valley, the school is ideal for those hoping to get into the tech field. Yearly tuition fees total US$118,644 for single students and US$142,080 for married students.

 

6) The Wharton School

Placing sixth is the 20-month MBA program at The Wharton School in Philadelphia. The school achieved a perfect score for employer reputation and high scores in the remaining categories.

The program places a high focus on leadership, productivity, growth and social progress, giving students the ability to manage data rigorously. Located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the MBA program at Wharton is a two-year (20 month) program with tuition fees of US$157,896. Wharton graduates notoriously receive high salary boosts.

In joint fourth place is Haas School of Business, located in Berkley, California. Its two-year program received excellent scores in career placements and employer reputation.

2) Michigan Ross School of Business

In second place is the MBA program at Michigan Ross School of Business, which received a high score for career placements.

1) MIT Sloan School of Management

Taking the top spot is the MBA program at MIT Sloan School of Management. The school received high scores across all indicators and a near-perfect score for employer reputation.

Based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the 24-month program has tuition fees of US$192,115. Sloan’s Career Development Office has extensive resources to help students with their job search.
